Progress Through Knowledge ACI Intermountain Chapter
Dear Members, The ACI Intermountain Chapter will be offering individual and student memberships at no charge this year and only require the membership form to be filled out to obtain membership status. Members receive notification of monthly luncheons, certifications and other ACI programs. Corporate Sponsorships will also be available. The corporate Sponsorship includes company recognition at ACI Intermountain Events and your company logo placed on the ACI Intermountain website. Corporate Sponsorships include advertisement on a hole at the golf tournament and advertisement on a table at the Awards Banquet as well as admission for scholarship winners. Awards BanquetThe American Concrete Institute is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of concrete technology through research and education. The ACI Intermountain Chapter has established the “Awards for Excellence in Concrete Construction” in order to recognize the innovative and aesthetic uses of concrete by owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and ready mix concrete producers. The winners of the ACI Awards for Excellence in Concrete Construction are recognized by the industry and the community for their outstanding achievements. Please join us for the 23rd Annual Excellence in Concrete Awards Banquet to be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Rice Eccles Stadium Banquet Room. Please RSVP with the Awards Registration Form. Golf TournamentAnnual Scholarship Golf Tournament 1110 E. For 2009, six $1000 scholarships were awarded to junior, senior and graduate students in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Construction Management. Scholarship applications are now available for 2010. Applications are available here or by contacting Kristin at the Intermountain Chapter at 801-250-3444. The winners of the 2010 scholarships will be recognized at the 23nd Annual Excellence in Concrete Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 25, 2010.
